Loved this! It's hard to get into Jackson's head and write it WELL - which you've absolutely done. Mad respect. I hope you'll continue to write Red Eye.

Very nice. I like the unusual prose and the way you built on ideas from the movie to delve into Lisa and Rippner's characters. I hope you use this as inspiration or background for a larger story (it says complete, so I'm assuming this is a oneshot).
The segment that reads, "Sometimes he thinks she does it to spite him...a details man" Is that referring to Rippner or Lisa's brother? It was a little vague.
All in all, I really enjoyed it.

A very lovely piece. Love the picture you paint of Lisa and of Jackson's inner thoughts about her. The thing with her brother was rather disturbing (sexual abuse?).

Ah. But we've all got a bit of the monster in each of us, haven't we? In any case, this was great. Things that would almost make you feel sorrier for Jack than for Lisa. Things that make him more of a person because he feels more and fears more. And that, dear, is awesome. Alternately, this made me love Lisa more. It makes me think that she would be more suited to his line of work but the point is that they are where they are anyway. <3
