I'm crying, I'm crying. For some reason I always assumed they'd be happy together on the other side once they made it back, but now I think about it, this is a more realistic outcome. Realistic, but tragic. It's beautifully written - there's a kind of hazy simplicity to it that really conveys how Al's feeling... and that ending is just gorgeous. I hope they find home. I really do. They deserve it after everything.
