Well, the Itachi and Sakura incident certainly caught my interest. I did NOT in any way expect it to elevate to such a dark twist. But, it does indeed make for a wonderful plot device. Also, the mystery surrounding Sakura's current case, and why Sasuke's there, enforces the suspense almost iconic to the supernatural genre!! However, the amount of unanswered questions left behind, almost equalling in the number found in an episode of True Blood, leaves a sense of unfullfillment, which I hope can be found in your next update, whenever you make that be.

Can I just say that dorky kickass Sakura swearing to Norse gods is the most epic ever? *mentally spazzing 'cause of idiots who read Mononoke thinking Nami and Sasuke together ties with Sakura and Sasuke...* Er yeah needed to rant bout that...

...About the Naruto chapter, SAKURA'S LYING 2 KEEP NARUTO FROM GETTING HURT. Sai told her that because she luvs Sasuke, Naruto's getting hurt from it. So, Sakura, being the sweet, sentimental, good friend she is, is doing what SAI said...I H8 SAI!...It's OBVIOUS Sakura's lying...Look at her eyes and her smile.
