Well-written, giggle-inducing fun right here. <3 loved this! The characterization was done nicely. The convo with Epps at the end was priceless.

(as was the part of the 'movie' where the Autobot avatar was hitting itself. I don't know why. It just was. I had to read it over a couple of times before it sunk in, and the mental image made me lawl.)

*giggles* My sympathies go towards Sam, I had the same "WTF?" experience every time I had to analyse literature for school :D

It's a really nice touch at the end that Epps gets and loves it. That it isn't a cultural thing, after all, makes Sam's utter confusion all the funnier.

Ah well. Art is sometimes very much a matter of personal taste.

Having just sat through the "psychedelic kung fu epic" (the words of a roommate, not mine) Magic Blade, I can fully appreciate Sam's position. Nice refer-back to cartoon!Megatron's alt-mode, even if it's a sword this time, not a gun.

Loved the exchange between Epps and Sam at the end, proving that art is at least quasi-universal and the reaction to it is never uniforms.

Oh my, I think I'm with Epps in this.. I couldn't stop giggling once you started describing the 'movie'. The first bit made me think of what Power Rangers or Voltron would be like if they had been made by Transformers. :D It would be classic!
