Oh my goodness! This...made me smile...a lot. I have been looking for a good follow-up story for the manga's ending and I must say...that this is perfect. The description of the kiss was totally violent, totally painful, totally Neuro-and at the same time but it seemed to be neutralized by Yako's thoughts:

"But being separated from him had hurt so much more, and the thought of pulling away now (even if that had been an option) was more painful than she could possibly bear."

Wonderfully, almost poetically, written.

The ending was perfect, too, and it definitely made me laugh.

If you write more, I would be more than willing to read them. I would look forward to it. :)

ROFL! This seriously cracked me up! I adore Yako and Neuro and this was just the sort of welcome I could see happening. SO glad, it turned out like this. I think it was hilarious-and so true to character. One of the best NxY pairings I've read so far. Excellent job!
