I hate the fact that I'm crying. Great job in keeping it realistic--and I mean that in every sense of the word--and oh, that last line. Tore my heart out.

Man, this was sad. It's a good fic but it is sad. You are right. I need to read something that will cheer me up. Don't worry about if you made the animal age realistically or not. Heck, the movies sure as heck weren't realistic so I don't so why writers need to worry about it then.

Wow, I cried almost the whole time I was reading it. I've read some stories with the same idea, but none of them compare to this. The emotion and the realism of their deaths is inspirational. A beautiful, yet sad story. I believe you were very close, if not exact, about their ages and lifespans.

I hadn't expected to get THIS sad. D: I hope you know you reduced me to tears. Hum, I don't want to spoil anything for people (like myself) who read the reviews first, so I'm trying to be vague here but I still want to comment. Crash's death made total sense; I'd imagine that could/would happen to one of them if the other died before. Diego's death had been pretty unfortunate, too, because his involved suffering as well, and he practically brought it on himself because of that pride of his. He could have asked someone outside the herd for help...heh, wouldn't matter now in the story, though, eh? Oy...and I really liked Sid's denial of his death. I'm glad Sid went the way he did, though.

Great job. This story is really a tearjerker but the description waa excellent. It's sad that everyone but Manny and Ellie died but on the bright side, they had good lives while they were with the herd. Keep writing! This story was excellent!

This was a really sad story. I felt myself getting ready to cry by the time that Sid died, although his was the most fulfilled death.

You seemed to write all the characters beautifully, and I am envious of that. It was especially powerful and in character when Diego died, and Sid kept denying it.

Tears were in my eyes as I read this...its so emotional and its a big tear jerker. Perfect spelling and grammar as per usual...and it looks like you've done some research to see how the animals age as well...which makes it that much better. Sid's death made me cry the most...he went so peacefully. And saying goodbye to Manny before he died was so...ack I can't even describe it!

Beatiful job...I can't find anything wrong with it. A real gem in the Ice Age fandom. Keep up the good work! ^^
