I much prefer this ending to the one in the movie. Well done.

Short but good. I can't imagine heart transplantation without needed equipment and a good surgeon anyway.

A much better ending in my book. I don't care how tough you are, getting stabbed in the heart with a three-inch beam is not an injury solved by getting up, walking off, getting in a helicopter, flying away from a nuclear explosion and getting a heart transplant from a cyborg in a tent in the middle of the desert.

Besides, Marcus is way too cool to get a lame death by heart transplant.
