 Feodora 8/26/11 . chapter 1Wah I love this story!
Usually, when I come across fics with both India and England in them it's a pairing. This appealed to me in more ways than one.
And I like how you included Russia there. So many people forget him. (Though they mention him nearly everyday in the newspapers I have international page. Russia helps India here, co-operation, co-operation, friendship, blah. Le argh.
I like your style of writing a little different? Yes.(But truly I'm liking this because it's got India, England AND Russia in it. I wonder if there'll be any more along this line...
Though, in my headcanon, old India and new India are one the people are the same, aren't they? I mean, [flails] they haven't completely changed. (It does mean, however, that India as a whole predates China.
Good news? Himaruya has mentioned India. S/he is a guaranteed character. Pity the gender is still ambiguous. (I'd like a gal in a sari, honest... but it's good to see one's country represented at long last! Buttonesque |
Andreya Halms 3/16/11 . chapter 1this story makes me really want to write a letter to hidekaz and ask him to include india as a character.
so. i liked your story a lot and you did a great job putting all of india's ties with other countries. i'd like to see more of this brother-sister(?) relationship. and it's kinda weird...i mean, we usually take off our rakhis after a day or two, but hey, wth.
btw, india not only split into pakistan, but also into bangladesh. |
Charlotte Heywood 2/9/11 . chapter 1What a sweet story- I love England's awkwardness over what he did to India in the past, and how she is a big enough person to rise above it. This is really an interesting relationship that I would like to see explored more. |
Dush-kins 9/6/10 . chapter 1Hmmm... I really liked this :DD I don't know why, but i do like the idea of India concidering England to be one of her brothers, even after all he did to her (it shows as India being the bigger person, since it would be so much easier for her to hold a grudge against him).
And... wow, Russia helped India *that* much? o_o And here I thought Russia really did have no soul lmao
In my head canon, I always liked to think of India as beign an immortal, along with China and the seldom-noticed-but-still-extremly-old African Nation, Ethiopia xD Though I do like the idea of pre-partition India as being a completly diffrent person, though (the mother of present day India and Pakistan, no less).
Ah, and Kashmir-the source of most (if not all) of India and Pakistan's problems with each other... I'm glad to see a fic that actually meantions this region! (I seriously thought that I was the first one, but I could care less with being the first, just as long as someone's being historically accurate lol).
And so. I've always wanted India to be a canon character, but this just makes me want it even more so, since there's so much potential for her (though knowing Himaruya... him) to be an amazing character. And you've definatly shown that. I'm guessing that your Indian, since you meantioned that you and your sister do something for this holiday; well, in any case, you portrayed your contry well _*goes of to put this on her favorites list* |
Rydia 8/7/10 . chapter 1 You did a great job of putting all of Inida's ties with other countries in here D
I wish India was in Hetalia by now XD |
Shatterdoll 7/17/10 . chapter 1Ah...I am pleased not only to finally see a story showing England's ties with India, but a story that makes so much mention to India's ties with various countries. I enjoyed it. |
A Midsummer Night's Dream 5/5/10 . chapter 1I like it and India seems to be a very interesting person-I mean nation here. |
 Helioqueen 4/2/10 . chapter 1 Well, lovely
I haven't read an India fic before.
Now I'll try finding some more since this one was so good. |
