I think this is a phenomenal story. The exhaustion is so well-written that it is palpable. I felt I was on the deck of the Galactica, in Apollo's back pocket, the way I felt like I was in Charlie Sheen's back pocket the first time I saw the movie Platoon.

Excellent, excellent stuff. Mesmerizing. I hope you're writing commercially published fiction as well, you are so much better than most published authors I've read.

You know I really liked the story until the end. You need to make a warning about slashy stories so people can be warned and not read if it isn't their cup of tea.

Great descriptions. One of the best stories I have read about the days after the destruction. Take out the slash and this would be a mainstream hit.

Amazing depiction where you paint those days after the destruction so vividly, as exhausted warriors struggle through the horror while fulfilling their duty. Wonderful touches with the religious ceremonies. Adored Starbuck waiting for Apollo to blame him for Zac's death. And Anton's line "the most inconsequential acts had a resonance they didn't deserve" really strikes a chord.

This story was fantastic until the unexpected slash at the end. Take that out, and this would be one of the best BG stories I ever read.
