When you wrote about Henry inviting Abby to the cabin, I was confused at first. I thought, "Huh, I don't remember...well...whatever..."

BUT THEN...the deerhead scene! I forgot all about Abby visiting him during that scene!

That was a perfect example of how great you manage to weave EVERY TINY detail in. It's so flawless.

This story is amazing!! I loved every second of reading it, and now am really looking forward to more whenever it comes. You have done an incredible job of capturing Henry's inner workings, and his complete fixation with Abby! Plus the fact that he still considers Trish his property even if he doesn't want her and plans to kill her. I did like in the show how he seemed to regard each kill, one of my favorite scenes was when he was talking to wakefield about Danny and his dad says "He didn't embarrass himself" lol!

I must say some sick part of me always seems to cheer him on in getting Abby, I don't know why. ;-; Look forward to the next chapter!!

I especially loved the part where he thinks about Sully and Abby - and Trish catces him staring.

And as always I'm amazed by your storytelling abilities: To dig into the show and come up with a detailed set of thoughts and feelings for everything that happened.

I really am enjoying this story, and I was very pleased to see a new chapter. I only recently saw Harper's Island, but I'd had a feeling from the very beginning about what was going on. There was just so many clues! Did anyone notice how when people were suspecting Jimmy, and trying to figure out Jimmy's motive, when someone suggested the motive was because he was trying to get back at her for leaving him all those years ago, and Henry commented with a vague haunted look on his face, "yeah, he was pretty torn up."

It's moments like that which your story is bringing to the forefront. People say that it didn't make sense. I say that it made the MOST sense for Henry to be the killer. He was sick. And there was no other way he could see for them to be together. Ah, deranged love. ;)

Anyways, yes, wonderful story. It's making me think!

I am so fascinated by this story. You obviously put a lot of time & care into these chapters. The attention to detail, Henry's thought processes & your characterization of Wakefield are just a few of the things that impress me. Just a thoroughly well-written, captivating story. I thought it was very interesting to see Henry's first kill, something I've never read before! You did an impeccable job with this chapter. Everything is so detailed and thorough; I love it!

With the risk of sounding like a freak, I really laughed at this sentence from the start of the chapter: "It was, Henry decided, the perfect sort of day to commit murder."

Henry the happy killer was great, and the part with JD even better: "...even if each one of them though that they were the misfit."
That sentence really sums their relationship up to me, and I look forward to seeing more of the interaction between them. I think Henry's relationship with JD is one of the more interesting sides of his character.
