I love that the clock is stopped well before the last frantic seconds. LOL. That is perfect. I am really fond of internal pieces, Ezra's tumbling thoughts are so well done. He's such a contradiction of emotions, and I'm glad he found a family with the guys

Nice story. I knew he was going to get saved in time, but still... :-)

You know, I have to admit that typically I don't really enjoy drastic AU fics, but you tend to use a nice combination of canon material blended with your universe. It comes across really nice, and very in character despite the changes in scenery and time period. I find myself compelled to go back and read all your stories, now...though perhaps, for a fan, you'll write another one set in the actual M7 universe? ;)

Very nice fic! Love the look back at his life and the confirmation that Ezra has found his family. That was a nasty situation for him to be in and being able to see the timer tick down was just an added bit of cruelty. Ezra's comfort at the thought of his team really fit. Love that they did get there in time to save him and that Ezra was trying to get them to leave to protect them. The "Get Smart" tracker was really a blessing. Very nice touch to have Buck disarm the bomb with so much time left. Nice reply to the challenge and thank you so much for posting this here.
