Holy **... I read this last night, but didn't post a review cuz I was so incredibly sad! This is amazing! You need to get it published or something! Oh my god, this was so GOOD. A really poignant and interesting look into their friendship and what may have happened if it had been Daniel to go. It was beautiful and made me hurt a little. This fic deserves WAY more love. It was really good.

the line that hurt worst was: "'I love you,' he says once as Daniel sharpens his throwing crescent. he doesn't know what reaction he expects. He doesn't get one at all. He doesn't say it again." That just got me.

Such an interesting take on that case... it's strange seeing Rorschach be Walter for a change (if that makes sense). It's dark and painful and beautiful in a way because we see how rorschach could have been. Unfortunately, fate had to have someone take his place. Great job!

oh, my. it never occurred to me what could've happened if it had been Daniel whom witnessed and experienced the Roche case. it is very, /very/ interesting indeed to see your own interpretation of an outcome. and i have to say, i really, /really/ enjoyed reading this. *hearts*
