I feel kinda confused. When did he kill the Lt.? How long after the movie was the scene? Was Gambit his lover? So many questions!

woah. Totally NOT what I expected ... at all! I was both disappointed and intrigued. Disappointed, b/c there was no *action* in this chapter; not even real *emotion*, diluted as it was by Logan's time of isolation. And after the way that movie ended, I'd expected a fair bit of intensity to the opening of this story. So it was a big let-down, @ first.

Now I'm thinking, "what's going to happen to him now?" and so I'm interested again despite my disappointment. I hope you make it worthwhile!

...But one thing you HAVE to do: nix the impossible circumstances of his imprisonment. Fabulous healing factor or not, even Logan has to have water on a fairly regular basis, and food on occasion, in order to survive. If it had been months since his last sip of water, he'd be dead same as anybody else, or close to. If it had been even 6 months since his last meal, he'd be emaciated. Remember that his unique biology also includes a CONSTANTLY revved-up metabolism, so even though he can survive longer @ starvation levels, he actually needs to eat many more calories per day than your average man. Also, the way his healing works is by regeneration -- which means that his body basically feeds on itself if there's no protein available to replace damaged cells. So every time he gets electrocuted, every time he extends his claws, even the calories used for thinking or pacing -- his body has to steal the raw material for healing the wounds from other body parts. That translates to shrinking muscle tissue, thinning bones & skin, etc., until his body can no longer sustain even basic functioning.

Obviously, that was A BIG beef w/me. :)

This is definately different. In a good way though. You can picture his blankness and timelessness very well. In fact, it was almost like being in the prison with him... Anyway, very nicely done and keep up the good work. You definately have some talent.
