You broke me in the most wonderful of ways with this. The parrallels between Kirk/Dean and Castiel/Spock are perfect. I have one question though, maybe I'm reading too much (or not enough) into it, but is Bones perhaps Sam? Jim's concern over him seemed very much like the concern Dean has over Sam. Could just be from one best friend to another, but it made me curious.

I checked out this section in ST crossovers just to see what it was like and was pleasantly surprised by this story. You slip into the reveals of who the two are so smoothly, which really makes what might otherwise have been an odd combination actually work. Thanks!

That was fascinating.;) Really, very much enjoyed the bits of Dean and Castiel in there. I'd think Sam and Bones would have a lot in common too come to think of it.

But the mention of souls and the finite number of them was really interesting.

Alright. I loved this one. I liked that you didn't try and throw the boys into the future or anything like that, just put their souls in there. I am a complete Castiel addict on the verge of being a Spock addict so this was glorious. I loved how you jumped around but not nearly enough to lose us.

I want more of this. Please.
