I love the way you woven key pieces of Logan and Max's conversation into this poem. I also like your use of a key emotion to end one stanza and begin the next. The poem was even better after a second reading. When I learned that Logan wrote it after AJBAC it gave me a very different and much more poignant perspective. I realized that each verse is not only about his emotions when these events initially happened. It is also about his feelings after Max's death. Very touching.
