Wow. Such a powerful chapter. I found myself leaning in toward the screen as I drank in your words. The image of Hermione curled in on herself as she broke through Severus' defenses, unable to look at him. Not only would he have refused to continue, she couldn't have violated his reserve if she'd looked at him. I'm in awe.

Bwahahah! Hermione is such a card. I nearly spit on my keyboard. I can see where you had modeled Snape on Alan (he does things to me *fans self and the voice is delicious.

You sucked me in within the first few lines. Your writing is wonderful. Descriptive without being over embellished. I am intrigued, honestly. I can picture the events as you lay them out. I'm officially a fan. Though not your "biggest fan", no Misery here.

Perhaps one day you will post the notes to the end of this story. It is one of the best Snape stories available.

I've quite enjoyed this story so far, and was very disappointed to see updates cease with it unfinished. So close to the end, it's worth finishing; while the story still has the innocence of earlier HP fiction, it's mature for its time period. Do you ever intend to finish it up?

I saw this fic mentioned in many places as one of the best in the HP genre, and I resited reading it for a long time because I knew it was incomplete and hadn't been updated in a few years...I foolishly peeked at it, was drawn in immediately, and am now in love with this fabulous story. I know you have already been innundated with pleas to continue, but I must add one more you have created such a beautiful story, please come back and finish it! What a shame it would be to leave it incomplete. Your writing is amazing. One of the best fics out there, in any genre.

Well, I first read this story about a year ago and last week I read it again. Now that I have figured out how to subit a review, I just wanted to say that I still really like your story. In the year that passed between reading the story for the first time and now rereading it, I have read a lot of ffs, but this one is still one of my favourites.

I guess I should mention that I'm German and still going to school, but I'm quite proud to mention that my English improvided in the time passed and now I understand some things that I misses the first time.

I really loved the quotes and poems in the chapters, they really go well with the mood.

I'm amazed. I think this is the best fic I ever read and I'm not just saying this. I've never read a fic written like this before.

I really hope you will continue this fic because it's really worth it.

This is simply stunning. I love the dialogue especially- the voices, which so expand and enrich the characters we thought we knew. And Severus' dry sense of humor, and how his colleagues and later Hermione come right back and give as good as they get.
I also have enjoyed the wide ranging quotations, and how they apply to the chapter at hand. And I thought I was well read.

I really do hope this eventually gets completed. I also confess to some hope that Harry gets redeemed, at the last. If you have a live journal where new installments first appear, do let me know.

I really hope you haven't abandoned this story. If you have well, a small note on the fact would be nice, so that I can stop hoping for an update.

This story is wonderful. The characters are all very believable and lovable, and I'm really anxious to see what happens to Voldemort, Severus, Hermione, Ron, Harry and everyone else. And perhaps most importantly, what deus ex machina are you planning to use to defeat Voldemort? Or will he not even be defeated at all?

I eagerly await any future updates that might be in store.

Oh wow...I just love your story! It's great! I even like the 'Ron' you painted in this story, which is rare. All in all, you have a wonderful story and I hope you don't plan on abandoning it!

very very very good. I have thuroughly enjoyed this story so far. It is right up there with rowling herself. Perhaps even better.
I want to know if Harry ever manages to pull his pathetic head out of his ass and do the right thing!
