It's interesting so far. There are a couple of spelling and grammer mistakes, but the plot is good and, with a Beta, you'd have a pretty good story here.

Oh, really nice chapter. I especially love the banter between Wesley and Abigail. I can't wait for the next chapter. I do hope there's a scene somewhere between Fox and Abigail.

As for canon continuity, are you changing the time of Mr. X's death to fit in with what you have in mind?

Watch the use of the comma. There are some instances where they shouldn't be used. Keep in mind that commas are used for a natural pause in a sentence. Also some sentences need to be restructured for an easier flow.

Oh man, the slow buildup is killing me but damn does it help the story. If she saw Cross, I wonder if she'll be able to save Wes from Fox in time.

Talking about school, I think you mean 'principal' when you are talking about the head of the school. Principle refers to something like a main priority or something.
