This was absolutely beautiful. It is stories like this that remind me how powerful words and emotions are, and one can always tell when a person has put a bit of themselves in a story. I don't know how to react to this honestly. It is one that will take more than two minutes to completely soak in, but it was absolutely beautiful. The style was lovely. Please write like this more often. The part where Patience was shot almost had me bawling. No parent deserves to out live their child. It is unnatural and we as humans naturally shy away from it. Lovely piece of fine writing. Well done.
