Poor John. But that was the truth I bet, the boys didn't work well when they dont have each other. After all, Dean was Sam's mommy...everyone'd go for mommy over daddy, i guess..great job!

That was gentle, sweet, and evocative. John's pain at knowing Sam is looking for Dean rather than him for comfort ... beautifully done.

Oh certainly, that must have been devastating for John, realizing that Sammy (in his need when sick or otherwise) is more connected to his brother than his father.

But then, it shouldn't really have come as such a huge surprise to him anyway, seeing how he was away from his kids that often.

Still, he takes good care of those he loves - or tries his best to do so...

That was totally fantastic my friend. I have to admit feeling a little sorry for John when Sammy called out for Dean...of course he knows that Dean is he one who was always there for his youngest so he accepts that bond, but in this one, I think he feels the lost!
