I feel as though Ernst would slip gently into death, rather than go fiercefully. And the 'first experience of happiness' was spot on- when, at a time like they were living in as teenagers- would they possibly be able to experience true happiness? This was wonderful, deep, and very sweet.

Dude, this was so awesomely sweetly sad! Character deaths always depress me but you did it so coolly that it made me feel squee-ish ] And the part "You return to the age you were when you first experienced happiness" - LOVE. I haven't had a chance to review your other oneshots but they were all totally awesome ] x
