Agh, I think you managed to touch on one of my deepest fears: Dentists.

Seriously, I like that you captured some of the fear of a little boy about dentists. The part with Aragorn reassuring him by demonstrating with Legolas was a hoot. I think you got a good, fathering sort of Aragorn very much in character. Kudos on that. Nor is the ice-element far-fetched. Old roman emperors and other kings would have ice delivered to them, so great touch there as well.

I just hope Elrond can travel swiftly enough to handle the two recovering patients.

Looks like Elronds aid is needed, I hope he will come soon. Am so looking forward to the next chapter.

Oh, poor Legolas! This was a cute little story, and it really made my day. Well done! It was certainly an original idea, I can tell you that! I liked Eldarion - he really seems like Aragorn's son. It actually took me a few minutes to remember who 'Grandpa' was. *looks sheepish*

Elrond will fix those two up. :)

Anyways, all in all, a delightful little piece. :)
