Very well done - I think you captured all the personalities. I especially like the portrayal of the Grangers, who would be mumbling and fumbling with any boy - it's them, it's not the fact that Ron is a wizard. I imagine that Hermione's "thanks a lot" might have got them thinking about what they'd said and how they'd said it. So, they redeemed themselves in a quite dramatic fashion with the flat.

For all those reading this who are Brits, or too young to remember, 21 was the age of maturity in the US for a long time, including voting, entering into contracts, and drinking, and I believe it was in Britain, also, for some things. Currently, the age of consent for everything except drinking is 18; for drinking, the age remains at 21. So all the references to the 21st birthday reflect elements of a past in the muggle world which has apparently been forgotten.

This is very sweet :) I love how confused dear Ron gets over it all (though who wouldn't with the Grangers talking that way! ;) ) and his and Harry's conversation. Their card at the end is terribly nice as well. Lovely job!

I really, really liked that story.

There are so many about the Weasleys that it made a wonderful change to show the Grangers accepting him into their family.

You caught Ron so beautifully, his wide eyed innocence and ignorance (in the nice sense) of the muggle world.

Aw, how sweet is this! What's amazing is that it's still sweet while Ron walks knee-deep in poop. I love the line where Ron yells that women don't have to make all the potatoes, and how he has to come to grips with being a genuinely good person. Terrific, as always.

It's great seeing the Grangers embracing Ron as one of their own. Eighteen means being an "adult," so 21 means just being that much more grown up.
