I do hate when authors don't recognise what they're doing. Generally it's due to their inability to recognise abuse, which is rather worrying really. That has to be my biggest problem with the Harry Potter series, there's no way Dumbledore (and almost certainly Poppy) could be anything but complicit in the abuse Harry suffered at home.

how is fleur a character wen she aint mentioned

unless the other story is complete and similar to this one then could you please remove the complete status for this story.

Good description. I was born there moved away for 9 years and than came back so you got americans labeled pretty good. You did forget reckless, proud, and a little crazy though! I can't wait to read more!

I really like this story. I've read a lot of HP fanfic and this definitely has a unique plot. I've never read a story that had Harry transformed by the chamber of secrets incident or a story where Bones becomes Harry's guardian. It made me realize that canon never really talks about Harry's potential godmother. Or at least I don't remember any reference to that. I just always assumed that with a patriarchal society they didn't have one. Great idea there!

That said, I was really getting into this story and was disappointed that it wouldn't be continued. I could easily read 300k words on this topic. The rewrite sounds interesting, but it seems like it will be a long time before that gets completed and I rarely read incomplete stories. I also hope the rewrite gets the attention of a skilled beta. There were many, many misspelled magical terms, character names, word substitution errors that detract from an otherwise very interesting story. A good beta should catch these errors.

All in all, a very good story that I found engrossing. Too bad it wasn't continued.
