I don't know why, but this brought several goosebumps to me while reading this. The imagery of the words, of a skeletal Kakashi, of the smoke from the cigarettes, were all done beautifully. Half the time I kept thinking that Genma really wasn't there and was just a figment of Kakashi's imagination. I got all choked up at the last few lines as Kakashi "splutter and flicker and go out".
