It totally gets on my nerves when Lily is always described as perfect and James is THE arrogant toerag. It must have been hard thinking up of 10 things James could hate about Lily, but I think you managed it quite well. You've shown us a new Lily and she's interesting.

I think 1, 2, 5, and 6 were my most favorite, not necessarily in that order though. :) I really loved the bit about her hair because it seems like EVERY single fanfic I've ever read talks about the 'awesome-magicalness' of Lily's hair.

I'm not exactly one of Lily's biggest fans so it was nice to read a REALISTIC take on the James&Lily love/hate relationship. It definitely gets irritating how so many fanfic authors treat Lily like she's perfect and James like he's a complete monster. Their relationship in fanfic seems to be so...unbelievable. Especially since it would be totally weird for James to not dislike at least some things about Lily!

i really like this. it's true you only read james' i love lily lists and lily's i hate james lists so it's a very refreshing and quite realistic point of view and for once in doesn't show lily in a goddess like image that gets rather aggravating (people have a propicious tendency to forget she's a delicate flower)

This was really good. I think you captured so much depth in their characters and their relationship that isn't shown in canon and which is glossed over in fanfiction too often. Good job on James-- he seemed very real and true to his canon self, and how you looked at Lily through him made her interesting, too.
