Reviews for Forgiven
Illucida 10/2/09 . chapter 26
This was a fantastic ending; it tied up all the loose strings. Great job. :)
Jedi Buttercup 10/2/09 . chapter 26
Aw, Tara and Lindsey and the teasing. And the restraining order. Adored those parts. Also, Buffy being more socially aware than canon: always a plus. )

Thanks for summing up the redone Darla arc for us, if we weren't going to get the full-blown version. (Wow, that would wipe out, like, two thirds of the next three years' worth of plots. Concentrated angst now, but so much less later on- Darla's rebirth as a vampire was pretty much a nexus for the entire rest of the show, and not just Connor either, but everything that ever came out of Wes' exile, the Beast, Illyria, etc. So, really- this *is* the perfect moment to cut it off with a (going to be) Happily Ever After. Nice.)

And, of course, a perfectly sweet conclusion. *hugs story tight* One of my favorite Whedonverse epics, ever.

I'm so sorry to see this come to an end. It's been an absolute delight.

I'm glad to see that Cordelia has kept up her ties with the scoobie gang. The artificial barrier that existed in the show never seemed realistic.

So poor Darla wound up killing herself. A pyrhic victory against W&H. Lindsey wounds up in a healthy relationship instead of his obsession with a vampire (which, I believe, was as much about Angel as it was Darla.)

I wonder what happens next. The visions are still killing Cordelia, but hopefully this time she doesn't make a foolish decision obviously based on a lie. (I find it hard to believe that visions would drive Angel mad considering he'd spent a century in hell.) Jasmine is still looking to hitch a ride here.

I like the small glipse of Angel and Lindsey reaching some sort of accord for Cordelia's sake. And Lindsey using his lawyer skills to help Tara. Sometime violence isn't the best approach.

Once again, a truly lovely story.
Imzadi 10/2/09 . chapter 26
Good ending. I liked having them go to SunnyD for Tara's party and seeing all the Scoobies. I can't believe what Darla did (so now Angel doesn't have Connor?), but maybe she wasn't evil this time around.

How about another epilogue set maybe 10 years in the future with Lindsey & Cordelia married with child(ren?). Please?

Maybe this time Wes & Fred (did I ever tell you that I think Fred is Lindsey's long-lost sister) could actually end up together.

Thanks for a very entertaining "good Lindsey" story.
Rabidreject 10/1/09 . chapter 25
awesome.
Illucida 10/1/09 . chapter 25
This was brilliant. :D It makes me sad that this is coming to an end...but I look forward to the epilogue. Is there going to be a sequel? It's fascinating to think of how Lindsey would impact the rest of the series...
SheWhoFliesOnHerOwnWings 10/1/09 . chapter 25
I loved these last few chapters! They have been the high points in my day! I really loved the way you got Lindsay and Cordy together and I hope it continues. So is the next chapter the last chapter of this story? And if so will there be a sequel?

Again I love this story!

Jedi Buttercup 10/1/09 . chapter 25
Wow, we're already almost to the Epilogue? I suppose all the plotlines potentially spinning out from here _are_ kinda beyond the scope of this particular story, but... *whimpers*

Anyway. This chapter made me smile; yeah, his life is wrecked, but he has solid ground to start over from now. Love, forgiveness, and most importantly: trust! Big step for them. Yay for Cordelia continuing to be smart about things (re: the Darla CD) despite all the emotional upheaval and yay for Lindsey not letting her down.

This has been such an excellent story; I'm sure the ending won't disappoint.
Imzadi 10/1/09 . chapter 25
I guess they really did have a lot to say to each other. I liked Dennis' little snit. That was funny. I don't know if Lindsey & Angel will ever be friends, but perhaps they can learn to tolerate each other for Cordelia's sake.
Lena7623 9/30/09 . chapter 24
If Lindsey had waved goodbye to Lilah from the elevator, I would have laughed until it hurt. Fantastic chapter, though. So relieved to see Lindsey get out of there alive.
a2zmom 9/30/09 . chapter 24
Always fun to see Cordelia get her bitch on.

And in this case, her more nuanced approach will be a lot more effective than Angel's slash and burn approach. Although I doubt that Lindsey is free of W&H just yet.
Imzadi 9/30/09 . chapter 24
Queen C, you are one amazing young woman. That was a great plan. I'm glad that Lindsey is free. I do feel a little sorry for Lilah, though. I think Lindsey's secretary resignin was a great touch.
Jedi Buttercup 9/30/09 . chapter 24
I'd forgotten about Nabbit, too! Nice. *vbg*

...Now for the, ahem, other matter? Lindsey's still got some 'splaining to do...
a2zmom 9/30/09 . chapter 23
Loved seeing Doyle. And the acknowledgement while that Cordelia may now love another, she still loved Doyle first.

I thought only the "owner" of a home could invite a vampire in. (Although the show was never completely clear on that, I admit.)

I wonder exactly what Cordelia's idea is goint to turn out to be. She has an innate cleverness/deviousness that Wes and Angel lack.
Illucida 9/29/09 . chapter 23
This was a fun chapter. You had some spelling/grammar errors: you left out the 'c' in muscles, and one of your 'I's didn't capitalize. Just thought I'd let you know...
