I feel so bad for Alex. Not because she lost the competition or anything, but because of the way she's treating herself (and has been treating herself) to deal. It was a breath of fresh air knowing that Carter is a genuinely good guy, but it's still heartbreaking. She needs some happy (aka. Justin) in her life...like SOON :P *hint hint*

This could quite possibly turn into one of my favorite WOWP Jalex fanfics... and not only because of how well written it is, nor how emotionally wrought Alex and Justin are, but the character development you've created for MAX. Canon-wise, I fondly adore Max like he were MY little brother... and you've managed to stay true to his essence AND added depth in there to make me love him even more! I can't wait to see where you take him and his guilt-ridden siblings...

That was a good first chapter! It's like Romeo and Juliet, two people in love who can't be together. I for one love it!
