I have to agree here. It's more like how Eric might behave rather than Bill (that's why I love Bill-despite being a vampire, he's almost a dream relationship despite the brooding and angst-he does have to have some flaws, doesn't he?.

The as pointed out earlier, in the grave yard scene, he does give Sookie the opportunity to object. At least that's how I see the momentary pause after he pulls himself out of the ground.

The same in the books, where Bill wakes and starts forcing Sookie when they are trapped in the car trunk by Debbie Pelt(he had been tortured by Loreana for days with no blood or sleep). But he stops when he realizes what he's doing.

When I saw the tag, I was all "Finally! Something Bill and Sookie!"
Then I read the description... "Yikes. Ok, give it a shot".

Well written, but I just didn't like it. Are you Bill/Sookie or Eric/Sookie?
So don't take my not liking it as an insult to your talents. I just don't like my Bill acting like that.

I don't see Bill as being so callous at least not on purpose. If he thought he was hurting Sookie, he would stop. Got the eat my face off reference from Hannibal.

Nicely written but I do feel that Bill is not abusive. He always puts Sookie first and there has been no forced sex except the graveyard which Sookie clearly enjoyed. Hell, he even said that he would be happy to simply hold her all night when she was getting all horny in the hotel room.

Bill is too much of a gentleman and despite being a vampire he really cares for Sookie. I don't see their relationship as abusive at all.

So sad that this is true in relationships, but I love him, never an excuse for abuse!

Hopefully you'll touch even just one reader and show them the truth!
