I like the way you wrote this w/out it being more than suggestive cause its hard to see these two together but the way you did it works really good.

I enjoyed the rewrite. You're right it does convey the same mood as the original version, without going over the edge. The revised version also seemed to fill in some of the gaps from the original version. And as always I can't wait to read what you come up with next.
