This is really, really good. You have such a great insight into Snape's character, and you really make the reader sympathize with him. The poem (I think it is at least) at the beginning is just perfect for the piece too. Great job!

This was the most beautiful fic I have ever read to this date. I loved your charaterization of Severus, how much he wishes to change certain things and just don't manage to do it. The piece really blew my mind, and was nothing like I expected it to turn out.

I could only spot one mistake in this piece. On the sentence "Severus finds himself dying on the floor of the Shrieking Shack, the place he had never thought he w0ould find himself on his deathbed." you have written would with a zero.

Other than that it was a flawless, exellent piece, and once again, I loved it. Especially the line "I'd carry you." I was almost at the venge of tears when I read that part.
