love it, too much.. great scenes, with various characters!

First next gen fic I've read, so I wasn't familiar with the characters. Took a little while, but I'm warming up to Rose. Really enjoyed the interactions with Hermione, can't wait to see what Draco's like. Can't wait for chapter 7!

I love your writing style. It's witty and believable. You make your characters sound like real people, which I highly appreciate.

Excellent story! I just discovered this yesterday in my email updates of your new chapters and realized that I hadn't read this! And I LOVE it. Not only because it's a completely different take on Scorpius and Rose (although can you explain how she's in Slytherin -like how it happened and how her family took it?) and the story dynamics starting so abruptly...like you developed the story very nicely, but it was an original start to the story.
Absolutely can't wait for the next parts! Especially Draco ;)

I love the exploding patronus!

This the very first Rose/Scorpius that I ever decided to read and boy am I glad! Ever since Broken I have always kept an eye out for you and your new projects. However I ALWAYS limited my tastes to strictly D/hr works and was disappointed to find that there wasn't a single D/Hr fic left of yours to read.. I remember finishing Ordinary People some months ago and feeling terribly empty because it was the last of all the fics (Dramione) of yours that was left for me to read. Each story of yours made an impact on me which wasn't so easy to shake off. Broken of course is my ultimate favourite, which I guess I read over a year and a half ago but have started re-reading again, but again Japanese Blossoms stole my heart. I have never seen a more simple, uncomplicated and innocent D/Hr fic. Infact your language touched me so much that I still read it at night sometimes when I can't seem to sleep. Moreover, my mother brought a Japanese Blossoms perfume recently and I just CANNOT remember you and the fic each day.

Coming back to THIS story, I am in love with both of the central characters! Basically with the kind of friendship they have. Although it is evident that they shall end up together, may be after this mess is solved, however that phase when two best friends are most intimate and connected most innocently without a tinge of suspicion of romance, now that EXACTLY is my flavour. Somehow it gives a whole new different level to friendship and you just can't smile at all the moments they share. IT is like being in a cliffhanger, or rather midway to a bridge and you just want them to stay there so you can enjoy these moments more. However, kindly ignore all of this and end them up together.. Don't let what I say change the nature of this pair entirely.. :P

Moreover, I JUST LOVED how you added a bit of that sharp tongue, that I so love to see in the D/hr pairings of the fics, in these two little future love-birds. No offence, but it makes me feel as though Rose is Draco's daughter too and hence inherited his sarcasm and lack of care of what others think.

Although I must admit, seeing Hermione not as a central character is something way too new for me. It is like I am hoping every time Draco being put up in scene is a sure shot interaction and a possible romance between him and her. Can't help, Dramione fan after all. But Rose and Scorpius definitely steals the show. And yes. I am also happy that you portrayed Draco much more wisely than he is usually put in non D/Hr fics. Shows he had every possibility of never ever being a snob if not for his stupid father.

Well, that's that. Hopefully, you'd be quick (in our definition of 'quick', not yours) to update the next chapters now that I am hooked to it. Can't wait to see how both of them solves this case..

omg, this morning I received an email saying that this story had been updated and I was like what? I don't read Rose/Scorpius... anything. But I decided that I'd have a look at it and I love it. I actually might like it a teeny bit more than a lot of Dramione stuff I've read. and it's also more plausible :D I love how you've written Rose though. I hate it when people just write the second gen characters as clones of their parents... No one is that much like their parents and no one idolises their parents to that degree. Can't wait for the next chapter xx.

Yeah, so, um.
I just found this yesterday (was soooo shocked when it was updated today, haha) and have completely fallen into the story. The characters are so fun to read about, they really are their own selves. And I think their interactions are adorable and hilarious and perfect, so fun to read about
But honestly? I just had to read it on the first day this chapter, this lovelyexcitingawesomeepicness of a chapter came and I have to wait an incredibly long time for the next chapter?
Well. I'm sure it will be worth it when I read it (I'm so following this now) but for now all I wanna say is WRITEWRITEWRITE (not to be pushy or anything :p)

Bloody brilliant chapter, I can't wait to see how Rose keeps herself out of jail! And so see Scorpius have to deal with teh awkward that is feelings some more. Because boys having to deal with feelings and be awkward about it is just fucking adorable!
