The best 40k crossover-fusion I ever read, I been into 40k and Doctor Who for years it would also cover what to happen in 41k

I've never played Warhammer 40,0, but your story gave me all I needed to know to enjoy this!

Typical of Jack Harkness to get captured and used as a figurehead for the real powers that ran the galaxy, and of course the Doctor would show up to gum up their works.

They've got a tough job ahead to put things back on track, but at least Jack gets a really awesome- and willing?- consolation prize out of this!

Areal shame this is a one-shot like the others; this would make an awesome novel!

Wow! That story really needs a sequel, even if to tell us who is really behind the Imperium of Mankind!
The Daleks? Unlikely, they are gone (again).
The Cybermen? The original ones were deleted during the Time war and the alternate ones were destroyed during the Daleks' last plot.
The Sontaran? The Rutians? By now they really have destroyed each other.
The Master? Well, he would have used the Doctor and not Jack.
Torchwood Two? Or Torchwood Four?
Or ... ?

So please write a sequel!

The Spirit

Different reality, different outcomes.

Good premise for Jack to be the God Emperor of Mankind.

Incongrous with the rest of the Galaxy, unless in this reality Daleks never existed or were wiped out.
They do have the Necrons.

Awesome if anyone can save the galaxy the doctor and jack can do it .this is made of win.

Being a fan of both Doctor Who and Warhammer, I loved reading this... and actually, considering how quickly the Emperor's wishes were violated after his entombment (Cult of the God-Emperor, the breaking of the Legions, just to name a couple), it's not that hard to believe that it could happen.

My favorite part, though, and it actually hit me a few hours after I originally read the story, is that Jack's got to be over the proverbial moon - he's got a beautiful, young female who will follow him wherever he goes and is completely devoted to obeying his every command.

Awesome! Ten thousand years of war, then the Doctor walks in and starts to fix it up. And continues to repress Cptn. Jack Harkness' charms.

... And then they have wacky space adventures?

Cool.
