I think your characters are a little bit immature for just having saved the world. Personally, I really am not a fan of the "rebuilding Vale" scene. I think it's unoriginal, and it has been done too many times. That being said, I do appreciate your (somewhat more) original idea of another Colosso.

Your intro paragraph was good. Kudos.

Most of the paragraphs after that were way too long. People can't read paragraphs when they drag on and on like that. If you look at some of the best authors on this site (may I suggest TheOneAndOnlyT?), most of their paragraphs are no more than four to six lines long. Try it. You'll be surprised how many more reviews you'll get.

So... to sum up the bad, with a few small extras: immature characters, unoriginal idea, not-so-great paragraphing, and lots of repeated words (elderly and said are the big ones).

And the good: intro paragraph, dialogue in the second half of the chapter (especially Piers and Ivan), punctuation in general.

Good luck with this story, I do love to see FelixMia. As far as I know, your story is one of only five on this entire site. VERY original!
