I just read this and it isn't bad. Just one thing that doesn't make sense thought. I don't know if anybody else pointed it out. You mentioned that the mother died giving birth to Dawn. But how is that possible. Dawn was never actually born. She was created by a group of monks in the fifth season. People's memories were simply modified to make them think she had always been there.

im confused...how is sunnydale a lake when it was turned into a crater by the first?

Too bad Dawn being the Key is such a secret, one can only imagine various scientists in Eureka going nuts trying to figure her out... (hey, I wonder if Warren got his robot tech from Eureka somehow? stole it or whatever?

Hey, love the idea of the story and it completly make sense considering how stubborn the Carters are and how stubborn buffy can be. lol

Maybe they're more interested in meeting Zoe, their sister? (and hey--maybe the 'giant software company' that tried to recruit Willow and Oz back in s2 was Global Dynamics? that's make for a good connection) -
