This was excellent! Thanks for this! As a senior in high school myself, I know how Caleb feels. All these essays, college visits and trying to keep my grades up makes my head spin. It's good that Caleb has the boys, Jim and Mac for help.

Ridley- this is amazing!

This as always was fantastic, I've had 'THE' crappest of weeks at work, stupidness that has just got one top of me, mainly by someone beiunga lying sack of s?@t, but I digress...sorry about that, but this cheered me up as all the brotherhood stories tend to do, even the ones that make me cry, and that would be 'The Real Deal' has me in tears everytime I read it.

You always make the characters so real, like I could just reach out and touch them, and I always wanna reach out to Dean and help him, be by his side and fight for him, beat all those that cause him pain, human and demon alike. I guess that's kinda weird to want to do for a fictional character, or it could be just that Jensen Ackles makes him so real.

Are you still going to do a story of were John first meets Mac and Caleb, I'd love to read that, and am looking forward to it. Please think about it x Enjoy the 5th season you lucky thing seeing it before I do. Living in the UK sucks so much at times. Take care Nikki xoxo

i loved this, its so nice to see the old crew with Jim and John again, I also love Caleb and Dean interactions those two are so great at any age but maybe especially like this, with young insecure Dean latching on to his best bud and Caleb as the awesome set a good example brother, and I love how Dean is the only thing that can really get through to him, great fic!

I didn't realize how much I missed John and Pastor Jim until I read this story. I also loved reading all the weechester stories and this is a great addition. Just one more bond between Caleb and Dean. How would Dean have gotten through his childhood if not for Caleb and would Caleb have been the same person if he didn't have the relationship he had with Dean? Great story

When I stop rocking and put on my magnifying glasses to look behind me, I can see my senior year. My sister was the rebellious one, however, so mine went better than hers. I was on the outside looking in at the scenes like this one. :D

John's parable was absolutely fantastic. I might use it on my granddaughter (14) next time she gets a wild hair. lol

I'm so excited to see this! It's funny, just the other day I was thinking about how I missed reading about young Caleb, Sam and Dean and the rest of the Brotherhood - and then I checked my emails and saw this! Thanks so much for the peek into Caleb and Mac - I loved seeing John, Jim and Mac worrying over Caleb. And Sam sleeping with his Alf lunchbox? So cute! I can still remember how excited I was about starting school when I was little too.

Thanks again for that look back into the past. I love all of your work, but I'm hoping you guys still have some other stories from when they're younger to share as well! I'd especially like to see more of your take on when Sam was just reaching the end of high school, how much tension was around and how Caleb would be trying to deal with what is coming up.

I LOVED this ... and hell yeah I missed the old days! I mean dont get me wrong ... the current stuff and sticking close to the series is important to me. I love that I can relate the brotherhood when I watch the show but every once and a while its nice to go back and soak up the good old days and this, my friend, was just perfect!! I was wondering if you'd forgotten about your younger years stories, they are always my favourite ones. And no-one is remembering John in a bad light. These weechester ones always make me laugh, you have a knack for putting things in the middle of a conversation, sneaky remarks at one another. Just like the conversation in the kitchen with John, Jim and Mac. There were zingers flying all over the place, cracks me up everytime.

Your weechester ones are always amazing and i love them and I hope it doesnt take ages for you to write anymore of them :)
