Mm, that subtle relationship is just what makes those two so great! That was short, yet so heart-warming and skillfully pulled of. You have a knack for the little touches that really put some soul into the writing. While adding those extra details usually make the sentence awkward and forced, here, they were perfectly included and flowed with such ease that you can't help but feel good reading it. I haven't checked yet, but if you haven't written any more stories for these two yet, I humbly request that you think about it. They really do need some more love, and you're the perfect writer to give it to them. =]
