Quite a nice read. I like how although it ended up with the two of them being ruled by duty and politics instead of something traditionally cheerier, such as love, it wasn't overbearing, but ended on such a hopeful note that it seems sure that the two of them can create a new life together.

I think this story is the most realistic scenario of a relationship between Hinata and Sasuke, a brokered marriage.

Pride and honor (for Sasuke) loyalty and duty (for Hinata) would come before romance. *sigh* Much as I love the romantic fluff of Sasu-Hina stories, let's admit it, they're highly implausible.

Then again, if we strictly follow canon, the only way Sasuke is likely to rebuild his clan is if does a Pein and raises them from the dead.

so i've been away for a while and aye dios, i come back to a sasuhina lol

it's not a pairing i can usually stomach, but as ever, you have an ability to make it - what's the word - realistic maybe? acceptable? those aren't quite fitting, maybe what i mean is logical! yes, logical is the word. wow, this review's kind of stream of consciousness.

any way - so yes, my biggest issue w/ sasuhina is the ridiculousness of it. but here, it reads as more of an inevitability, and a chance for hope, more than anything else. and while sasusaku will always be my otp, this was a nice look at things that could happen. i enjoyed it, lady.

Great story. I love how you portrayed Sasuke. It's great as a one-shot, but it would also be great as a full story. Especially since I would like to see Sakura realize Sasuke is her friend despite everything.

By the end of the one-shot I really got the feeling that Sasuke was finally happy. I also got the feeling that he was in love with Hinata, although that may have been too much for him to admit.

I know you have this marked as complete. And I know it's irritating when people ask for more of a completed this but this has great potential. If you did decided to continue, I would happily read it.
So I'll just add this to my alerts in case you do decide to add more.

So does Sakura cling to Naruto because she still wants Sasuke on some level but is afraid that he'd betray her again? And decides that Naruto is a safer choice? Or what?

This can't be a one-shot! ;o I loved it, it was so good! PLease update another chapter, this would be a really, really good story about Hinata and Sasuke. Anyways, I hope you'll update, it's too good for just a one-shot.
