This is amazing. I really loved this one shot. My fiancee is in the Air Force, and I can totally sympathize with what Bella is going through. My fiancee was gone for 9 months for deployment, and every single minute, like Bella, I missed him. Thank you for writing this, it brought tears to my eyes.

This story deserves more reviews and rates- this is spectacular writing and I love it! :)

It's a magnificent story ! Love, the waiting, the fear... it'a again well described and written. We can feel these clearly in your fiction. It's good that there is a happy end ! But unfortunately, it's not always the case. But your story gives hope too.

12 october is my birthday.

October 12 2008 a very very close friend of mine was sent over seas for two years.. everytime the news stated there was another death of an Australian Soldier i cried. and i prayed that it wasnt him.. i knew it was selfish being glad it wasnt him. but thats how everyone feels.. he is back now but we dont know for how long.. All i know is that now everytime a soldier dies whether he/she or if its an army dog dies i always shed tears as i know what it feels like.. so thank you for this story it is a really good read and is something that myself and a lot of other people can relate to and find faith and peace in reading.

This was lovely. I was prepared for a tear jerking ending, but I was pleasantly surprised I teared up for a good reason. It was touching and honest. Just wonderful.

I like the way you handled this subject. My daughter waited for a Marine for year and he has to go back in December this year after only being home for a few months. The idea of doing scrapbook pages for the different months is good.
