I think it worked out wonderfully, even though it wasn't supposed to be Riku-centric at first.
It showed a great knowledge about the characters, and it was cool to get inside Riku's head even though his thoughts seemed so gloomy. That's only to be expected...

I also loved the way you worked out their relationships. And I can definitely see Sora lying for his sake, lol.
