That's so sad! This day had to be so horrible... and then the next half year... All alone... scared that somebody would ifnd out... and probably at the same time wishing that it was so, that somebody WOULD find out and she had no longer to be alone... Poor child!

Well done Albus! I can imagine him taking care of Minerva quite well... I also can understand Minerva's fears, but somehow in my mindeven an orphanage is better than being lonely all time... But then: NOT a Charles-Dicknes-like orphanage!

Oh darn, does Albus REALLY does not get it yet? ... I fear Malcolm is dead... And poor Minerva, instead of asking somebody for help, tried to live all alone... Aparently also managed suprisingly well... But it's still not healthy for her! ... Well, when Albus finally realizes WHAT is going oin, he'll do something about Minerva...

Good that Albus will have a look into the Malcon and Minerva matter... I am not sure WHAT is wrong there, but something is!

Though I am browsing through old stories...( Only the one with "completed" on them, though...)... And find this one, that starts very promising!

I like that owl and I know, it is probably just there for the prologue, but I hope it will turn up again... And the girl (Minerva, I suppose) ... Why is she so sad now? Did she write "No, Minderva can't come?" but actually WANT'S to go to Hogwarts? ... I hope Albus will have a closer look in the matter, then...

Loved this, should probably have read it before I read ‘June Week’, but loved it all the same. Pretty savage stuff with Minerva having to bury her own father, alone, and then survive for months in almost complete isolation. I did think that Dumbledore would have reacted more to finding all this out though, the horror she’d been through.

All in all, another fabulous fic. :D

This really is diffrent. I dont think iv'e ever read a fic with a plotline similar to this. I liked the fact that we got to see Minerva as a child, and you did a really good job of keeping her in cannon! Keep it up!

Wow. That was excellent. I never really thought much about McGonagall's life before Hogwarts, and the way you portrayed it was excellent. Very bittersweet, and very good. Your writing is very good, and I very much enjoyed this piece.
