Reviews for Electricity
GrissLittleGirl 10/1/09 . chapter 1
I really loved this one. The mood, the colors of winter, the science involved, the love involved...

I could see this as a real scene, they are perfectly in character, both inconfortable and confortable around each other.

I love he knows he love her all the way.

I love how she is able to read him, feel him.

This physical phenomenon happens in my city all the time during dry months - we are in then right now - so it was cool to read it.

And the dual meaning of the subject was wisely used!

Congratulations!

Hey look who's reviewing *jumps up and down waving arms wildly*

This is a wonderfully laid out piece. I really enjoyed the play of colors - the pink flare, the colors of all - they really brought this to life.

"“Yep,” he said casually, pressing the bottle to his lips and taking a long swig. “Great. Never been better.” She gave him a peculiar look that seemed to sense his falseness, didn’t call him out on it. Instead she just nodded, setting her glass down on the knotty pine bar and sliding off of the stool."

This is so completely Brennan, being able to read *him* and knowing to let it slide. At least for this moment.

"He loved that smell—of her, not just the shampoo. Even if they had been digging up bodies all day or slogging knee-deep through slime, he still loved the way she smelled when she got close.

And then it struck him, like an electrical current running through his brain. He had always loved that smell. And he always would."

Gah, love it. The idea that he always loves that smell, that he always will, and then the nod back to the electrical current... it's just perfect. A great, believable moment of realization for him.

Beautiful job, Kat!

Brilliant! Wow, this was beautiful - him plagued with indecision and self-doubt... loved this:

How could he know anything, be sure of anything he felt, when he still didn’t even know who he was? When little things like clowns and socks and belt buckles turned him into a man he did not recognize, didn’t even realize was missing?

And I think you totally captured the Brennan that we were shown in this ep: aware, cautious, observing and just overall concerned for one of the most important people in her life.

That ending, just wow! Totally gave me (fluttery pink) butterflies!

Great job, hon! :)

Beautifully perceptive writing, as always. The ending was just about perfect too.

Aw that was so sweet! What a perfect way for him to realize that he has always loved her, not just since his operation. I loved it; beautifully written. :)
MadeOfStars 9/19/09 . chapter 1
Loved your interpretation of this scenario. It would be very confusing but aside from the fact that we all already knew he loved her, to see the personality changes because of the surgery and to doubt yourself would be hard. He would really struggle with that. God job.

Giggles! I got so mad with the brain scans, Booth loved Bones before the surgery! Anyways, very good, sweet, and in character.

You know, whenever I see the phrase 'knotty pine' it always makes me think that the pine is doing something that it shouldn't.
