That was.. wow.

I adore the fact that this isn't a 'fixit'. Obviously everyone does not live happily ever after. Far from it. And you captured that beautifully but managed to add in a little bit of hope at the end despite everything.

It was totally heartbreaking the way you wrote Jack, but perfectly IC. You really took my breath away with this.

"He’d spent over a century waiting for the Doctor to fix him, but the Doctor couldn’t. The Doctor was too damaged himself to fix anyone else."

That's true. I think you have a wonderful grasp of all the characters in this. Your Alice was brilliant and I thought it true to character that she didn't give Jack the satisfaction of killing him.

There's real depth to this piece, and it really tugged at my heartstrings.
