I really liked it! Wikus seemed perfectly IC to me, the way he speaks and his kind of quiet embarrassment just fit him really well. I wish you hadn't put 'THE END' at the bottom, because I really want to know what happens to Daniel :(

Bah, I wouldn't worry about it being too OOC on Wikus' account. I mean, hell, he had the transformation in his character, too, so there's that.

But what a sad and heavily ironic oneshot. I really liked this a lot, if only because the end was so depressing.

I really hope this isn't the last you post in the District 9 section. Please write more!

The story made my heart wrench, poor Daniel and Wikus. I do hope you make some sort of sequeal but then again its lovely as it is. I love the way you write, I hope to read more stories of yours.

Very sweet! I hope you write more -- this works well as a stand-alone story but I could easily see it being continued. Is Wikus going to take care of Daniel now?
