And I really like how you let us know pretty soon what moment in History it is really soon. As soon as you wrote "he didn't lose his eye" I knew who you were talkin' about. Sometimes I feel like a "Jeffrey", because I like History and know about it and how sometimes I have to explain it to people. LOL.

But it was sad that had to happen to lil' Louis too. That's one of the difficult things about being a Voyager though. Right Ginger?! ;)

What a cruel thing they had to do...I am a little bit surprised that Jeffrey is able to rationalize this so easily. On the other hand, he had no problems to send Spartacus on the path of his own destruction. I think that Jeffrey is "bookwise" while Bogg is "streetwise". Together they are unbeatable!

Great job as always, and it was interesting to learn how Braille went blind. Poor baby! :( And I was impressed that Jeff could be strong enough to let it happen. That must have been tough. What a unique approach, using the aftermath to tell the story! "Pain in my assets," that's classic! Though I'm not sure the expression "brain drain" was around in 1982; I don't remember hearing it back then. But what the heck, it works anyway. ;D
