ace... that's such a beautiful story of joy and companionship! If it weren't for the fact i'm at my dads work and i would get odd stares i excpect i would be crying. Very well done!

Great story! Best version of Holmes return after three years that I have read on yet! Your are right in saying that the honer of Watson fainting the first time does belong to Holmes. And of course Watson would name his son after Holmes. After all Holmes was, sorry is, his best and probably only friend. So it is only natural that he would name his son after him. Great story! I love it!

Oh, how wonderful! the children aren;t obnoxious or twee - SO RARE!! The shift to Mary's PoV gives a wonderful, fresh perspective - 'like a schoolgirl' - I like thee inside of her head - and the glimpse of Watson's happiness, through Holmes' eyes, reminds us poignantly that the two of them are made differently, Holmes being a moody, temperamental artiste, and Watson, as you show us, much more suited to the joys of this world, only here, sherlock is pulled into them. What a wonderful way to create a cheerful, happy ending.
