Being a former EMT I can relate to the boredom, especially since I worked third shift. Very amusing story! I was laughing the whole way through and well after! Reminds me of the time my class practiced spinal immobilization on me and then left me strapped to the backboard while they took a soda break!

That is positively brilliant. I actually know some former army medics, and although they would never admit to this kind of activity, I do know for a fact that they had way too much time on their hands while stationed in Okinawa.
