Life would certainly be a lot easier if we could just love the people that were good for us. But then again, struggles make us appreciate what we eventually get (ideally anyway). I enjoyed this.

Your dialogue is simply amazing, even hard to describe. They are my favourite part of your stories and, in my opinion, one of the strongest things in your fics as well. It just seems to flow naturally and effortlessly and you keep both Naruto and Sasuke absolutely in character(oh, and the chemistry between them!). And yes, yours Sasuke is definitely adorable ^^
And I also love how you manage to bring up so many emotions, not only with this fic, but with others as well. I really admire your writing and, as I already mentioned, your dialogue is absolutely amazing and powerful. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your future works.
Cheers

It's refreshing to see Sasuke as the one more emotionally-attached, in a relationship.

I always enjoy reading about the sweet moments you write between Sasuke and Naruto. Your one shots are definitely something short and perfect that I can read to keep me satisfied while taking a break or something. <33

This one in particular just broke my heart. I feel like the whole thing is so beautiful and bittersweet and I can't decide whether I want to cry with joy or with anguish. It's clear that Naruto loves Sasuke, but at the same time it's still pretty much one-sided love romantically speaking. WHICH KILLS ME because that's what bitter sweet endings/senarios do to me.

Brilliant writing and plot as usual. Keep up the great work!! And thank you for sharing another treasure with us today!

This fic has been haunting my mind since last Fridays (not this Friday, the one before). Back then, I didn’t feel capable of leaving a review. Because yes, I was –and still kind of am- being a drama queen about it.
It hurt. It hurt a lot to read this, and even more to read it again so I could clear up some ideas. The fact that Naruto doesn’t feel satisfied with Sasuke… Or better said, the fact that he can’t, because he doesn’t want to. What I mean is that, it seems to me that even if Sasuke didn’t bring up the topic about her, Naruto still thinks about it consciously or unconsciously…
He seems so down.
And... I don’t know. D: Sasuke loves Naruto, and supposedly Naruto loves Sasuke. But something just isn’t right between them. At least not right now.
I love how you described Naruto’s frustration. Having all these thought and ideas, but being unable to write them... But hey, he did mention that what he wrote after seeing her didn’t mean anything to him, what would make it different this time?

- He can hear the grin in those words, and it makes Naruto smile all the more. He laughs again and lowers his head, watching the back of his hands before he glances over at Sasuke.
He narrows his eyes at Naruto. “What’s with that face?”
Naruto shrugs at him.
“Are you sure you aren’t in love with me?” Sasuke asks in a way that sounds quite serious, folding his arms to his chest.
Naruto snorts and brushes it off. “Wouldn’t it be nice if it were that easy? Why would I ever wanna fall in love with a bastard like you?”
“Maybe in a perfect world,” Sasuke suggests sourly, a repetition of a previous conversation in an entirely different time and place.
“Hm.” Again, Naruto finds himself staring at the hands in his lap, tugging at a wayward white string that’s attached itself to his inner thigh. He picks at it, stares, and then lets it fall to the carpet. “I wish I could describe to you the way I feel about you… Sasuke.”-

I just feel that Naruto can’t love Sasuke completely. BUT, I believe that if Sasuke seems that indifferent about it, it’s because he knows that deep down Naruto truly loves him. Or will love him, someday in the future.
Sasuke tells Naruto that she makes him happy… But Naruto is genuinely happy when he’s with Sasuke, too.

-“Heh.” But Naruto does hold it. He doesn’t squeeze him, just enjoys the bit of warmth seeping into his glove via Sasuke’s skin. “Right, I’ll try to enjoy it in the now as opposed to realizing in the future that this is one of those fleeting moments I should’ve appreciated.”-

Buah ;(
Well, leaving aside the dramatic comments, I sincerely think that as always you made a great job describing, expressing and duh, writing in general. Their conversation explained a lot of things, and leaves other for some thinking moments. That’s cool. Even if I start having wrong conclusions :x

I don’t know what else to say right now :B

Good luck with everything (:

Ok, so this is the third time I write this review because my fucking computer keeps being a bitch! God, I'm so pissed right now...
Anyways...
Another great piece, as always.
First, your language is so... unique, versatile, so exquisite. You have perfect use of methapors, comparisons, allusions, literary references, vocabulary selection and all that jazz. The rythm of the story just flows naturally through your words so it's always a pleasure to read you.
This time you tell us a sad/bittersweet/heart-wrenching story between these two boys located in the beautiful Paris (ah! Mon ami, la ville de l'amour!). Love the the french decadent atmosphere that impregnates the whole narration and the gourgeous and vivid descriptions (one of your strong points).I could almost pictured them clearly in my mind (Have you ever been in Paris?).
Ok, so NERDING (is that a word? XD) time. Sasuke quoting Rimbaud? Oh, I love you!. Really, my favourites authors are the 19th century french poets/novelists, so little rebelious Arthur is one of them (being Baudelaire the one I love the most :3). He is a very atractive, but complex, writer.
I also like this romantic idea/image/concept of Sasuke being one of the many anonymous Rimbauds that wonder thought the world. Although both characters, Naruto and Sasuke, are stylized, aestheticized (to the point of losing some of the rudeness that characterizes them) their dinamic is still intact. Sasuke, especially, is strangely, surprinsingly and openly affectionate (he's such a lover boy XD. Side note: I don't know, but reading your works, for me, Sasuke seems to be always a more interesting and atractive character than Naruto, I think it's because of how is portrayed his complex (emo-angsty XD)personality. You really like him, don't you?).
Finally, this fic has an amazing potencial to be continued because of all the questions that are left unaswered, but also stands as its own as a one-shot for of the same reason (so the reader can fill in all the gaps). So, thank you for writing and sharing and keep on writing!
P.S I was wondering, when is next chapter of S.A.M coming?
See you!

This was cute! A little sad though. And the characters were a touch OOC, but I thought you portrayed Sasuke really, really well. It would have been nice to know what had gone on with Naruto and Sakura. Well done, fun read!

This piece was extremely bittersweet for me to read. Naruto is in love with a married woman and is "happy enough" with Sasuke. I really can't explain well how incredibly sad that made me feel. People are always learning to accept reality that they never could when their notions of romance crumble. When I came across the part of Naruto telling Sasuke he understands his reasoning for destroying his work.

“Even so… the way you quit. It was like one of those artists who burns all their work right in the middle of Paris. Sometimes I wanna do that. I understand I guess. At least more so after you did what you did… I guess it’d be empowering to destroy your own work. I don’t think it’s too selfish or anything. What we choose to share is ours, y’know? If we created it, we should be entitled to destroy it as well.”

I really thought of Nao while reading, it's true and going along that line of thought I can understand it better as well. Wonderful job I swear if you ever decided to make this a career you would be a #1 selling. If not I'd at least buy a copy and I'm sure many other reviewers would as well. Thanks so much for sharing this. Nao's lucky.

I don't even know what to say about this. I truly loved this piece here, it was beautiful, touching, and all around interesting. It had such a nice steady flow to it and I didn't want it to end.

It was more real than a lot of stories (published works as well as fanfiction) that I've read. The concept was lovely (I always enjoy the 'slice of life' sort of thing) and the characterization was as great as ever. Thank you so much for writing it. I have to say, I really do love all the work that you put up on here.

Once again, the wit, charm, and abstract brilliance shines through. I admire how you seem to write short stories as though they are snippets of different lifes from parallel universes; they are simply sublime. The sentence structure here was very good and the personalities were unique and whismicall. The feelings that the final scene evokes in me are only ever evoked by you; professional writers make me think and wonder, maybe inspired. But I will always remember that Rasengan 22 made me feel.
You wrote with a near perfect amount of detail, (you always seem to write to tease) I always feel slightly sad when I read one of your stories, as I know that I will not see it updated in a while.
Nevertheless, another example of raw talent, and a gorgeous portrayal of a complex relationship between two men.
Simply: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. There is no other way of decribing such things.

Woah. That was fascinating. Something incredibly different from any fanfictions I've read about those two. And guess what? I loved it. Their relationship together has always been so complicated, so hard to comprehend.

Despite Naruto's feelings for another, persuming it's Sakura (who else could it be?), he and Sasuke just belong. Precious friendship, or in a romantic way, brotherly, whatever. They just have this bond that can't be broken.

Also, it's so refreshing that this time around, it's Sasuke who is more emotionally no-nonsense and stable than Naruto. I guess in the end, if you care too much, you're the one who has to go through so many shits. That's Naruto for all of us.

Another plus point, is how at ease they are with each other. Even if there's always this part of Naruto who yearns for his love for other people, I believe he can be happy in this story, with Sasuke. Why not? They do love each other, afterall. And Sasuke's made it pretty obvious that he CAN make Naruto more happy than she could.

Two thumbs up, darling. Great job.
