"You liked Dakin. And you didn't tell anyone. We told you everything." That is a large part of everything I love about Scripps, and definitely my favourite line from this story.

Really nice writing, I love how you gave Posner that little bit of defensive oomph - and the humour after he decked Scripps (you can't accidentally hit people like that, Pos).

Great. Just recently I've watched the movie; this is what I've been looking for! I believe it was the "A Brief Encounter" scene that birthed the concept of Scripps and Posner. Posner, I've realized is my favourite character. While the "A Brief Encounter" clip is my favourite part of the movie. Please please, if you would, write more of Scripps and Posner! Because I assure you, I will read it.
