Okay...Okay...Where do I even BEGIN with this one?
*Goes back into a fit of laughter, starts hyperventilating, dies and leaves the pressure off you to reply to any review using Chaos forsaken asterisks*
It's hilarious and innovative. Great work.

 ShadeCrystal 2009-11-12 . chapter 1LOVED THIS! LOVED THIS! LOVED THIS! XD
Sonic and House in the same fic? Yay! (Melts after overheating)
The line "Episode One: Everybody Dies" just made me laugh my head off once again!
Thank you for this funny one-shot! :) |
 bookaholic226 2009-10-28 . chapter 1Aw! Tails and Chris always die!... but Chris deserves it. MUAHAHAHAHA-*cough,cough*...haha.
I was entertained X). I think it would make a very interesting story. (or it would at least be funny to read what the summary would become) Good work. |
 Hokuto Ulrik 2009-10-24 . chapter 1Funny as hell. Shadow does fit the part of House very well. |
 Singulus Immortalis 2009-10-24 . chapter 1lol :P |
 Luigifan1 2009-10-23 . chapter 1Luigifan: XD. This is great. I don't know a thing about House, MD, but it sure sounds like you thought out the roles well. Sonic would hate being unable to walk, but he sure is an insufferable optimist. Rouge is a PERFECT fit for any "manipulative, strong-willed woman" role, and the fact that Shadow will be making constant remarks about her breasts just cinched it in my opinion... Yes, I support Shadouge, why do you ask?
Shadow: *has gotten a bit red in the face, but is doing a surprisingly excellent job of hiding it*
Sonic: *winces upon noticing the line "My leg doesn’t obey me anymore! It hurts! Somebody, please, kill me!"*
Knuckles: Sonic sobbing like a little girl? Now THAT'S entertainment!
Sonic: *directs a death glare at Knuckles*
Luigifan: Cream's... erm... unsuitedness for the role of Cameron was pretty funny - it's true, she's probably the last character who would EVER be caught taking drugs and acting like a slut.
Cream: ...What's a slut?
Sprout: You don't want to know.
Luigifan: Silver being placed into the role of Dr. Chase was funny. "Wait, WHAT?!?" XD Especially with your "You're only going to sleep with Amy" line. The reaction was PRICELESS.
Amy: O_o;
Sonic: o_O;
Luigifan: I can't believe I'm saying this, but you even managed to make the situation of Sonic being MAULED by Metal Sonic totally hilarious. And I agree, Knuckles sounds like a great fit for the role of Dr. Foreman. But... seriously... is killing off Tails really necessary?
Tails: o_o;
Annie: ...Say WHAT?
Luigifan: o_o;
Annie: *reading* "This being a Taranea-fanfic, he will be the patient who DIES IN THE SECOND CHAPTER TO ADD DRAMA?!?!?!?!?!?" *absolutely FURIOUS* ...If I ever see that lady, I am going to STRANGLE her...
Luigifan: O_o;
Flora: Um... Annie... don't you think that's an overreaction-
Sonic: Absolutely not.
Luigifan: *facepalm* For the love of God... But, yes, Sonic's reaction in the fanfic - "YOU KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF HIM OR-!" - was pretty darn funny. Not to mention totally in character. Threatening Tails is one of the FEW things that really pisses Sonic off. The reference to House’s… erm… relationship issues was also funny. Dear Gods… the ex, the flirt, and the boss… that can’t be fun to be stuck in the middle of. And, of course, the over-the-top reference to Sonadow was very well-executed. Even though that sort of thing would normally make me cringe. Bonus points for having Sonic suggest breaking your keyboard.
Annie: I have half a mind to do it myself… and maybe her hands too…
Luigifan: ANNIE! *groans* Where was I… Oh, yeah. The final bit talking about a "Wilson Boom" and having Maria be Shadow's first patient... oh, boy... talk about an awkward situation, huh?
Shadow: ...Say what?
Annie: *is nowhere to be seen*
Luigifan: O_o; Um, where's Annie?
Cassandra: She mumbled something about "teaching that Taranea girl a lesson" and stormed off...
Tails: -_-; Uh-oh.
Luigifan: Not good. Thank goodness she doesn't know enough about computers to break down an online account and determine the physical residence of its owner. *sigh* For the sake of everyone's sanity here, maybe you should lay off Tails a bit. But, anyways, great article you've got here! |
 RyukoVulpix 2009-10-14 . chapter 1 ... normally I wouldn't review twice, but I thought I'd counter Cap'n Chryssalid down there:
Typically, I'd agree and say that a character's role should be defined by what the plot needs, but I think fanfiction, crossover fanfiction in particular, plays by a different set of rules. At least initially, half the fun of writing crossover (especially humorous crossover) IS having that "typecast box" and squeezing a character into it. I mean, honestly, nobody expects Shadow to be a grumpy doctor with a painkiller addiction in canon, and that's what's fun about seeing it in crossover. After you get the atmosphere established, then the characters can start to deviate from both canons and evolve into into their own "distinct versions," which is the point of all fanfiction. So in this case, I think traits override plot, at least for the initial setup. (From there, I'd say any plot you want will follow pretty easily, so long as your characters are a decent fit to the other canon, as you demonstrated. XD)
Finally, there's a difference between "character to character" crossover and "characters in a different world" crossover, which I think is the difference being addressed in the review. Personally, I don't care which path an author follows, so long as the result is well-written.
... guh, I love crossover. XD |
 RyukoVulpix 2009-10-14 . chapter 1Holy. Crap. XD This is the second House/something ridiculous awesome crossover I've read in a relatively short period of time (the other being Star Trek).
Shadow's "(collapse) What the hell, I can't walk?!" was perfect comedic timing, yes. XD And awesome mention of lupus. If I knew more about House (and if I had more time... darn these final projects!) I would probably take up that prompt at the end. :)
Ah, well. I have about five crossover stories sitting on the back burner that haven't been touched in about, oh, three years. :(
Anyway, this was a wonderful way for me to procrastinate. As a lover of humor, crossover, and parody, I can easily give you a good six thumbs up for this. :D |
 St. Noof 2009-10-10 . chapter 1What a fascinating little informative. I actually think that would work. Oh, and the title of the first episode made me laugh until I fell out of bed... The pre-credit scene was more or less perfect House, I must say, although I haven't been around enough to watch much of it in recent times. Glad to see the Who/Sonic Xover's up, so I'll be taking a look at that in a moment here... |
 Nany 2009-10-09 . chapter 1 Nice cant wait for the other chapter |
 ZombieBlinky 2009-10-09 . chapter 1:o No words... can describe the happiness I see when you managed to squirm your way into making these two fandoms work together. Your genius is boundless.
I'm speechless. |
 CerberAsta 2009-10-02 . chapter 1Wow.
Just wow.
You took a semi-narrative and delivered a shock with it. And humour. All at the same time.
If this were DnD, you'd have a few ranks in Epic Writer. XP |
