What an intense yet sweet update. It’s somewhat awkward for me, reading this and not imagining Chakotay with her but instead it’s Tom. But I will tell you, I am a fan of this relationship. Keep going, this is an awesome piece. ;)

Oh! This was by far the cutest chapter! I hope she doesn't pull away again from Tom, like she seems to constantly do in my J/P story. But don't worry. They will eventually get together. Oh saw STV on DVD in Walmart for like 39 so they are no longer like 100 bucks. So they will be slowly making it down to reasonable prices.

This is, hands down, the best chapter you've written. Incredibly long, which I love and incredibly awesome.

my favorite line - Being with Tom is like stealing a shuttle and taking it for a joyride.

the whole thing read true to character, from the conversation with seven to the ping pong game and with some wishful thinking ... to the final scene.

I'm sitting on the edge of my keyboard waiting for the next chapter.

Poor Tom. Janeway is the one relearning who to be, but she's succeeded in tearing him down on the way. The few friends he had are gone. He has no one to talk to because they have all pushed him away or are collateral damage and got pushed away.

I hope that the last lines means there is hope for him.
